Hartest is on the B1066 south of Bury St Edmunds. Satnavs will probably take you via the A14 unless you ask for an alternative cross country route.

Park as tightly together as possible in the car park off Somerton Road behind Hartest Institute.

This is a figure of 8 taking in Boxted and Somerton and pretty much equidistant morning & afternoon. Sandwiches on The Village Green near The Crown pub.
