HARSTON RECREATION GROUND

Parking is in Harston Recreation Ground Car Park, The Limes, Harston, CB22 7QT

Coming from Cambridge turn left half way through Harston opposite the Buccati Motorbike Garage into The Limes.  Follow road round to parking area & recreation ground/orchard.   Start at 10am.  The walk is 9 miles via Hauxton & following river to Trumpington Meadows & Grantchester for lunch.  Return via Cantelupe Farm Road to Haslingfield & Harston.  Bring packed lunch.

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details. Please text or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of your text! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.

No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
