Parking and Start : The start of the walk and parking are at the large car park for the Church and Recreation ground, in Church Lane, Balsham, CB21 4DS. When turning into Church Lane from the ‘Bandstand’ please take care at the sharp, blind bend. Please park at right angle to the church fence so we can park efficiently.

The walk is north of Balsham taking in part of the Icknield Way in the morning with lunch in the Brinkley area, about 8.5 miles. The afternoon walk heads south Via Weston Green and Weston Colville and is 5.5 miles. The walk will not include the muddy section from West Wratting but we may find some mud elsewhere!

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details. Please text or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of your text! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on this walk is 12.
No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
