BALSHAM CHURCH & RECREATION GROUND CAR PARK

Balsham Church & Recreation Ground Car Park, Church Lane, Balsham CB21 4DS

From Cambridge take road to Cherry Hinton, go through Fulbourn, over A11 and into Balsham.  Turn left at mini bandstand into Church Lane and follow lane round bend towards church and recreation ground.

The walk is about 10 miles, 6.5 in the morning and 3.5 in the afternoon. It uses the Icknield /Harcamlow Way to West Wratting then loops through woods and fields to the east and back to Balsham for lunch. In the afternoon it is a loop south using the Icknield Way and Roman Road. There is plenty of mud so boots and walking poles are recommended.  Please bring all refreshments for the day
