This 16 mile walk has an 8.45 car share from Harvey Road. The start of the walk and parking are at the car park at Newport station, CB11 3PL. Drive through Newport and turn left down Station road just before the Gulf garage. There is a charge of £3.50 for the car park, alternatively there is free road side parking on Station road or by turning right at the Gulf garage onto Frambury Lane. If driving straight to the start please arrive by 9:20.

The walk passes through Debden park to Thaxted (pub and cafe) and back via Widdington. Distance 16 miles.
