Sun A walk Wimpole Fig 8

Time: 9.30 ready to walk
Start and Parking: Wimpole FIG 8. Park at Visitor centre CP, Arrington, Royston, Cambs. Post code SG8 0BW. Please collect at the CP end near the Visitor centre. If you are not a NT member, please let Leader know so she can try to pair you with a walker who can get entry for more than 1 person.
Distance: FIG 8 About 14 miles, 8.5 in the morning, 5.5 in afternoon.
Walk details: The walk will go from the Visitor Centre, through Wimpole and loop around Hatley Wilds, heading down towards Croydon. Then taking the Clopton Way and passing through Arrington to Wimpole for lunch.
In the afternoon we head towards the Eversdens and Eversden wood before heading back into Wimpole and the visitor centre.
Refreshments:Please bring all refreshments for the day since the queues might be long for drinks, but there will be shelter and loos at lunchtime, plus the opportunity to explore the NT shop.
