Start and Parking: The car parking and start of the walk are at the Great Chesterford Community Centre, Newmarket Rd, Gt Chesterford CB10 1NU. GR 505432. If coming on the A11, drive to Stumps Cross, turn Left at 1st roundabout, Right at second onto B1383 and just before you enter the village the Community centre is on your left.

Distance: 14 miles

Refreshments: Lunch will be a picnic in Bridge End Gardens, Saffron Walden. There may be time for a drink in a pub/cafe.

Walk details: The walk is 9 miles into Saffron Walden for lunch and 5 miles for the return via Little Chesterford.
