We shall meet at the village car park near Fair Green in Reach (CB25 0JD).  SatNav users beware: that postcode covers a large area!  The car park is by the turn from Fair Green into Burwell Road. If there’s no space then you can park alongside Fair Green.
We aim to walk beside Reach Lode, then across a part of Tubney Fen and along Straight Drove, finally rambling along various lanes and paths including one through Reach Wood and so back to the car park.  About 2.7 miles with one modest hill. It is possible to lengthen the walk if some people would like that.
Lunch: sadly the few nearby pubs that open now and then don’t do so on Wednesday lunchtimes and the Shed in Lode does not appear to have reopened yet.  The restaurant at Anglesey Abbey is open and has been reported to have improved. Also there is the tearoom in Burwell which we have used before.
