Wednesday B Morning Walks

General walk information:

BAM walks are between 5 ½ and 6 ½ miles and walked at a pace of about 3 miles/hr. We begin at 10.00 prompt (unless otherwise stated) and usually finish between 12.30-1.00 pm. For the summer, we will be offering one walk each week. Please let the leader know you are coming by sending them a text (or call). The number of participants in each walk is at the leader’s discretion. We do not stop for lunch but there is normally a short break for a drink etc.

Summer walk and picnic lunch event. If you would like to join the picnic without joining the walk, please do. We will see you in the park about 12.30pm

Walk: Milton PnR

Start of walk: 10.00 am

Car parking: Todays walks will begin at Milton PnR (CB246DQ) where the parking is free https://cambridgeparkandride.info/milton-about.shtml. Afterwards we will move to Milton Country Park Milton Country Park where it will cost £3 to park for 2 hours. Bring a picnic lunch or buy something at the café.

There will be two walks to choose from

Bernie: 6 Miles including Baits bite lock and the river Cam to Chesterton

Esther: 6 miles including Mereway and Landbeach.

Picnic in Milton Country Park. Walkers and non-walkers are invited to join in a BYO picnic around 12.30pm. You will be able to bring your own lunch, or visit the Café and pick something up. We will meet at 12.30 by the Pay and display machine and toilets, then go into the park to eat. For more information about Milton country park see link above.

No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill.
