B Morning walks: Byron’s Pool

General walk information:
BAM walks are between 5 ½ and 6 ½ miles and walked at a pace of about 3 miles/hr. We begin at 10.00 prompt (unless otherwise stated) and usually finish between 12.30-1.00 pm. For the summer, we will be offering one walk each week. Please let the leader know you are coming by sending them a text (or call). We do not stop for lunch but there is normally a short break for a drink etc.
No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill.

Walks: Byron’s Pool
Start of walk: 10.00 am
Car parking: Parking will be at the Byron’s Pool car park. TL435551 CB2 9LJ.
From Trumpington take Grantchester Rd towards Grantchester.
The car park entrance is on the left just before a row of cottages near the
river. It is signposted (on the opposite side of the road) to Byron’s Pool.
The walk will be mainly farm and brookside walking near Grantchester,
including a close-up view of radio telescopes and a look at the Trumpington
Meadows Country Park.
From the Grantchester direction Byron’s Pool is on the right.
