December 6 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Wednesday B Morning Walks
General walk information:
BAM walks are between 5 ½ and 6 ½ miles and walked at a pace of about 3 miles/hr. We begin at 10.00 prompt (unless otherwise stated) and usually finish between 12.30-1.00 pm. For the summer, we will be offering one walk each week. Please let the leader know you are coming by sending them a text (or call). The number of participants in each walk is at the leader’s discretion. We do not stop for lunch but there is normally a short break for a drink etc.
For latest full program see Autumn program 2023
Date 6th December
Wandlebury
Parking: Please note that we are not using our usual parking location, since on-going construction work in Babraham Rd PNR means parking is very restricted. Instead we will be parking in the main Wandlebury car park. Visitor Information Wandlebury | Cambridge Past, Present and Future (cambridgeppf.org). Please meet near the parking payment machines. As parking for the morning will cost £3.15 per car, you might like to consider car sharing.
From the parking we will walk the inner circle, then head out onto the cycle path towards the PnR and onto the Beechwood for coffee. We will return to Wandlebury via the Roman Road and Ely view point. With the exception of the Beechwood, that could be muddy, most of the paths are likely to be good.
