Time: 9.30 ready to walk

Parking and start: The start of the walk and parking are at a layby on A1304 at Grid TL584/578. The directions are: Approaching Six Mile Bottom on A1304 southbound drive through the village heading towards Newmarket, parking at a lay-by just past the Bottisham Stud entrance ( post code CB8 0TT) if coming from Newmarket lay-by on the right just before the SMB village sign.

Walk distance: 16 miles

Walk details: The Walk in the morning takes in the villages of Gt Wilbraham and Quy and then to Anglesey Abbey for lunch ( bring NT card if you have one).

The morning is approx. 10.5 miles. The Afternoon walk takes in Lode and Bottisham, then back to SMB and is approx 5.5 miles.

Refreshments:  Anglesey Abbey is very busy on Sundays so although we may have time to purchase a drink, please bring all refreshments for the day.
