Parking and Start : The start of the walk and parking are at the large car park for the Church and Recreation ground, in Church Lane, Balsham, CB21 4DS. When turning into Church Lane from the ‘Bandstand’ please take care at the sharp, blind bend. Please park at a right angle to the church fence, at the far end, so we can park efficiently.

Mileage: Approx 13 miles. There are various shortcuts should the weather make a shorter walk desirable.

Lunch; There will not be a pub stop so please bring a packed lunch & all other refreshments for the day

The walk:  from Balsham we walk NE to West Wratting, Weston Green and on to Brinkley for lunch, 7.5 miles. The afternoon is along the Icknield Way to Crick’s farm and Fox Rd, 5.5 miles. The walk will not include the very muddy section to West Wratting but we are likely to find some mud elsewhere!
