Take B184 from Saffron Walden towards Thaxted.  Pass through Wimbish – immediately after speed limit cancellation sign, Malcolm’s house is on the left – park in drive or in layby at the bottom of the drive.  Lunch at The Bluebell Inn, Hempstead.  Good selection of food, including sandwiches and baguettes.  All are welcome to tea/cakes at Malcolm’s at the end of the walk.
