Bill P will lead a walk from The Red Lion, Sturmer, grid ref TL695441 (Explorer 210).  It is on left of main road, A1017, through Sturmer which is just to the east of Haverhill.  Please park well into the car park.  Pub will be open when we arrive so we can order lunch and use facilities.
Walk is figure of eight with 8 miles in the morning though Great Wratting and then down the Stour Valley path.  The afternoon is  4 miles past Sturmer Hall to Lower House Farm near Steeple Bumpstead and back past Upper House Farm.
