Travel south on the A10 from Royston. At the first roundabout (by Buntingford) take the A507 right, signed to Baldock. In approx 2 miles you reach Cottered . ‘The Bull’ is by the small green on the right. Park in the pub car park to the right. Maybe better to park in the area fronting the pub if considering only walking the morning!

The walk will be a loop north in the morning (Mill End and Rushden ) plus a loop south (Ardeley and Moor Green) afternoon.
