Meeting point: Cow Bridge, Swaffham Bulbeck. Grid reference 553 635. If you are coming along the road from Cambridge past Anglesey Abbey, it’s the the first left turn after Longmeadow.
There is roadside parking near the bridge but please remember that there can be agricultural traffic at this time of year; please park carefully!

Walk: Along Swaffham Bulbeck Lode for nearly 1.5 miles, then along a field path to Docking Drove and finally a field path back to Cow Bridge. About 3.3 miles in total.
For a shorter walk, one can simply turn back along Swaffham Bulbeck Lode at any point. A rather flat walk on the fen.
