Park and meet on Coles Road, Milton near the GP surgery, ready to start walking at 10.30. (For more than 2 hours in MCP car park the charge goes up to £5, so I thought people would prefer to park on the road.) Coming from the A14, Coles Road is the third turning on the right after the Tesco roundabout.
Park on Coles Road after it turns left. There may be spaces in the car park – entrance on right – but it is really for the surgery and community centre.

Walk is about three miles, in two loops around Milton Country Park. The Grounds Café in the park usually has sandwiches, paninis, sausage rolls and cakes and there are lots of picnic tables and seating inside, so we can choose on the day.

Toilets in the Community Centre may be accessible before the walk. We pass the café toilets after about an hour, and again near the end of the walk.
