Figure of Eight around Histon

The walk is in two parts. The first part is mainly on pavements, visiting some of the sculptures in Histon and Impington. The second half goes on footpaths through Girton Wood and across the fields Do the first half, or the complete figure of eight. Total walk length around 3.5 miles

Park and meet in Somerset Road, Histon CB24 9JS. Meet from 10.20 to start walking at 10.30.

Cafés for coffee and/or lunch: St Andrew’s Cafe and Stir Cafe, both on Station Hill, are open, as is Station House Cafe by the guided bus stop. All three have outdoor tables.

Pubs: The Barley Mow and Railway Vue both do lunch from 12 on Wednesdays.
