We will walk from Burwash Manor Farm
If you are coming via the A603 Barton Road, go over the M11 and turn right shortly afterwards on to B1046 (SP Barton). The entrance to Burwash Manor is on your left after about 250 yards. An alternative route could be via the A1303 Madingley Road, over the M11, past the American Cemetery, up the hill and by Madingley Mulch take the first exit at the roundabout (SP Comberton & Hardwick) and soon after, first left on Long Road (SP Comberton). Turn left at the T junction on to B1046 and follow the road to Barton. Burwash Manor entrance is on the right as you leave the village.
Park in Burwash Manor car park on the left at the end of the driveway and meet on the green area of the courtyard by the big wicker bison ready to start walking at 10.30am. There are loos just beyond Burwash Larder.
The walk is about 3 miles on level paths (paved, gravel and grass) through Larkrise Farm and back through Barton Village. After the walk lunch is available at the Flock Café at Burwash Manor – plenty of seating but reservations are not possible.
