The ramble on Wednesday 11th January will start from The Eight Bells, 18, High Street, Saffron Walden CB10 1BU. There is reasonable parking at the pub, and Swan Meadow Car Park has masses of space. Swan Meadow is about a hundred yards away on the opposite side of the road from the pub and costs £2 for 4 hours pay and display. As usual we meet at 10 and set off at 10.30. The walk is about 4.2 miles, and is a mix of countryside and town – hopefully mud-free. Please let the leader know by 6pm on Tuesday 10th if you are coming, and if you would like lunch
