Two rivers walk: up the Ivel and down the Ouse. 6½ miles

Drive through Sandy on the B1042, over the A1 roundabout, and turn almost immediately left into the Garden Court Hotel and Conference Centre, and then right into the carpark.
Lunch is available at The Anchor in Great Barford. Sandwiches on the green opposite the pub down by the river.
Morning 3½ miles. Some long grass. Afternoon 3 miles (or less if you miss out the 16th century dovecote at Willington). Bus back from Willington to Sandy, which runs every half hour at 29 and 59 minutes past the hour.
