27th March 2019 at 10.15 am. West Perry (south side of Grafham Water) – 7 miles.

Meet at Grafham waters (Manders Park) car park, Map Grid Ref TL143672, by the visitors centre/harbour view cafe.

Morning 4 miles circuit along part of the three Shires way and small village of Dillington.
After lunch 3 miles walk around Grafham water nature reserves.

Car park charge is £3.50

There are a choice of lunch venues:
The Wheatsheaf pub in the village (dog allowed in bar but not restaurant area.) I have made a provisional booking for 15, I will give them the numbers on the day. They do not need us to pre-order any food.

The harbour view café. It has nice views overlooking Grafham waters, but their menu is a bit limited and waiting time for food could be long if busy. (dogs not allowed in).

If you prefer to bring your own food, there are plenty of picnic tables/seats dotted by the lake side near the car park.

Directions to West Perry, avoiding the A14 roadworks – Take the A428 to Bedford, once past St Neots take directions to A1(North). Once on the A1 take the first junction B645 towards Kimbolton. After 4 miles you reach Great Staughton, turn right down the B661, West Perry is 2 miles down this road. Grafham waters Manders car park just on the left as you enter the village.
