A 1307 Haverhill road from Cambridge.  Beyond Linton take RIGHT turn signposted BARTLOW and THE CAMPS.  Continue through SHUDY CAMPS to T-junction and turn RIGHT. Take second LEFT into Blacksmiths Lane and park in layby.
The pub, the Cock in Castle Camps, does not open at lunchtime but we may eat our own food at their outdoor tables.
