From Cambridge take the A10 to King’s Lynn, at the Hardwick roundabout follow signs for A149 Cromer. At the next two roundabouts keep straight on heading for Hunstanton on the A149. Ignore the sign for Sandringham off to the right on the A148 at the second roundabout, stay on the A149. After about 4 miles Sandringham is signposted to the right, take this right turn and follow the road through to the Visitor Centre. Ignore the first car park that you come to on the left just before the Visitor Centre. Go past the front of the Visitor Centre, turn left by the brown parking sign that is on the right pointing left for “Sandringham P” and park in the main car park behind the Visitor Centre. Nearest postcode PE35 6EH or GR TF691288
We will meet by the picnic tables in front of the Visitor Centre, where there are toilets and a café, for a 10.30am start. There will be the usual morning break on the walk, please bring a picnic lunch and sufficient drink. Seating and a toilet are available at lunchtime.
The walk will incorporate a visit to The Royal Station at Wolferton and hopefully the rhododendrons and azaleas will be in bloom.
