Wednesday B Morning walk – Trumpington – 6.5 miles

Meet at the Trumpington Road Park and Ride,  Hauxton Road, Cambridge, CB2 9FT. Group to gather in the glass Park and Ride Office. £1 parking charge for every car. The car park and the ticket machines (for parking ticket) may be very busy with post Christmas shoppers so allow extra time.

A chance to work off some of those Christmas calories!  A 6 -7 mile circular (completely flat) walk going through Grantchester and focusing on the lovely stretch of River Cam as we head north alongside the river toward the outskirts of town. It will be mainly rural but with urban patches on the home bound leg.

Wednesday Morning B walks are moderate speed – 3 m.p.h. on good terrain. Start at 10.00. There will be a 10 minute drink stop part way. As no lunch is involved, it is not necessary to phone the leader – just turn up.
