Wednesday B Morning Walk  –  6.5 miles

This is a semi-urban walk starting from the Teversham recreation ground car park TL501581, on the main road through the village.

The walk initially heads NW towards and onto Marshalls airfield, and from here turns SW to Cherry Hinton to join ‘The Tins’ footpath running alongside the old chalk pit workings. From here, the walk turns back on itself, returning along the opposite side of the workings next to the Cherry Hinton brook.

A ten minute break will be taken in the grounds of Cherry Hinton Hall, from which an easterly heading will be taken through the village and onto the outskirts of Fulbourn. The final section will be a direct walk back to the Teversham Rec.

Wednesday B Morning walks are moderate speed – 3 m.p.h. on good terrain.
Start at 10:00. There will be a 10 minute drinks stop part way.
As no lunch is involved it is not necessary to phone leader – just turn up.
