The walk starts from the Swan Meadow Car Park, Saffron Walden CB10 1DA – TL535385, a pay and display with a modest amount (up to 4 hrs £2.00 or up to 6 hrs £2.50). We will meet at the furthest section (far right end) from the road entrance. From the A11 at the Stumps Cross roundabout take the B184 to Saffron Walden, at the bottom of the hill take the first turning on the right, sign posted car park.

The walk is about 7miles, going past Audley End House, then following a tree lined track and some farmland to the south side of Saffron Walden. Returning along the edge of the town and across the park back to the car park. The walk will be along some road as well as footpaths which may be muddy.

Saffron Walden is a lovely market town and has a good number of eateries if considering lunch and look around.

Wednesday B Morning walks are moderate speed – 3 m.p.h. on good terrain.
Start at 10:00. There will be a 10 minute drinks stop part way.
As no lunch is involved it is not necessary to phone leader – just turn up.
