Wednesday B Morning walk – Moulton three churches walk – 6.5 miles

The lady in charge of Moulton Village hall has informed me
that on the day of our 3 Churches walk the hall will be used for a pre school group.
She has therefore asked that only 6 cars park at the hall.
Other parking can be found at the church or on the street where the shop is.
For the shop turn right at the staggered cross roads at Moulton into The Street.
I suggest we start the walk from the bridge.

Meet at the bridge in Moulton (a few hundred yards beyond the village hall).

From Newmarket clock tower take the B1063. Turn 1^st left which is the Moulton road. At Moulton you come to staggered crossroads. Go straight across into Bridge Street. The village hall is about 100yards on the right hand side.

The walk will be approx. 6.5 miles, via the 3 villages of Moulton, Gazeley and Dalham.

A little road walking, but majority a mixture of field edge, woodland and estate parkland.

Wednesday B Morning walks are moderate speed – 3 m.p.h. on good terrain.
Start at 10:00. There will be a 10 minute drinks stop part way.
As no lunch is involved it is not necessary to phone leader – just turn up.
