Wednesday B Morning walk – Cottenham – 5.8 miles

Meet at All Saints Church, which is at the far end of the long High Street (coming from Cambridge direction) the post code for church is CB248SA

There is on road parking available in the High Street as you approach the church and to some extent around the church depending on what is going on so please allow time to park at a little distance.

Walk is approx. 5.8 miles, we will be up on the banks of Cottenham Lode then River Great Ouse so will have good views across to Haddenham and Aldreth. The return is slightly more sheltered along Lockspit Hall drove.

The banks are a little overgrown in places but a fairly easy walk, a word of caution there are some stiles to be climbed.

Wednesday Morning B walks are moderate speed – 3 m.p.h. on good terrain. Start at 10.00. There will be a 10 minute drink stop part way. As no lunch is involved, it is not necessary to phone the leader – just turn up.
