Wednesday B Morning walk – Cambourne – 6 miles

Parking in Morrison’s car park. Nearest postcode CB23 6FY

From Cambridge take Madingley Road/A428 for ~ 8 miles and turn off for Cambourne. Go left from slip road onto Cambourne Road and then in about 300 yards come to a roundabout and take the first exit.The sign will say Great Cambourne. Go over little bridge with lake and Belfry hotel on your left and in ~2-300 yards come to another roundabout where you take third exit into Morrison’s car park.  We usually park top left as you come in.

Walk is ~ 6 miles and easy under foot. It goes around Cambourne Lakes and over the hill (Cambourne Pimple).

Wednesday Morning B walks are moderate speed – 3 m.p.h. on good terrain. Start at 10.00. There will be a 10 minute drink stop part way. As no lunch is involved, it is not necessary to phone the leader – just turn up.
