Wednesday B Morning Walk – Byron’s pool – 6 miles

Parking will be at the Byron’s Pool car park. TL435551 CB2 9LH.

From Trumpington take Grantchester Rd towards Grantchester.

The car park entrance is on the left just before a row of cottages near the
river.  It is signposted (on the opposite side of the road) to Byron’s pool.
The walk will be mainly farm and brookside walking near Grantchester,
including a close-up view of radio telescopes and a look at the Trumpington
Meadows Country Park.

From the Grantchester direction Byron’s Pool is on the right.

Wednesday B Morning walks are moderate speed – 3 m.p.h. on good terrain. Start at 10.00. There will be a 10 minute drink stop part way. As no lunch is involved, it is not necessary to phone the leader – just turn up.
