The walk meets at the Recreation ground car park (CB21 4DS,  TL587508), next to the church at the end of Church Lane, off the High Street in Balsham.

The walk begins by heading down School Lane, taking a short circular tour around the North end of the village, returning via the Church to then head North-West along Harcamlow Way. This leads to the edge of Wadlow Wind Farm and continues to ‘The Ambush’. A 10 minute break will be taken part way along the next section, which crosses a couple of fields back towards the West end of Balsham. This section may be quite muddy.
A short section of the Icknield Way Trail takes the walk back to the centre of the village, from where another minor circular route to the South returns us to the Church and the end of the walk.

As no lunch is involved it is not necessary to phone leader – just turn up.
