A14 direction Huntingdon as far as J26. On A1096 go left at each roundabout as far as A1123. Continue on A1123 until you come to the Houghton Mill turning on the left. Park at Houghton Mill (there is a charge to non-National Trust members). No fixed lunch place as there are lots of places in St Ives to picnic or buy lunch.
AFTER LUNCH: meet at All Saints Parish churchyard at the other end of town. With Poundland on your right, continue through town, and follow the river as far as you can until you get to the churchyard.
