A14 direction Huntingdon as far as J26. On A1096 go left at each roundabout to A1123. Continue on A1123 until you come to the Houghton Mill turning on the left. Park at Houghton Mill (£2 to non-National Trust members). As there is no convenient pub this will be a picnic, so bring some lunch and plenty to drink.

Due to the likely-hood of very high temperatures the walk has been shortened to 5½-6 miles.

Be aware that the A14 currently has a large stretch of 40mph speed limit.
