Morning 5½ m, afternoon 1½ or 1¾ m.
Park at the Newmarket Road Park & Ride (GR 4935934). Fee £1. Meet at the pay station.
Strong walking boots a requirement.
Lunch is available at the Green Dragon, Chesterton CB4 1NZ (GR 467599). For sandwiches we may use the pub’s benches near the river, but please buy a drink.
There’s a choice in the afternoon between walking into Cambridge (1½m.) and then taking the bus back to the P&R, or walking directly back from the Green Dragon to the P&R (1¾ m.)
