Wednesday B All-day walk – West Wratting and Weston Green

Start time: 10.15
Walk length: 7 miles
Walk details: 4,5 miles morning with 2.5 miles after lunch. A little road walking, some mud in places, no stiles but weather permitting lovely views!
Meeting place and parking: Park on the left hand side of Mill Road and meet at the junction of Mill Road and the High Street in West Wratting by the Chestnut Tree pub.
Directions: From Cambridge, take A1307 towards Linton. Follow B1052 to Balsham and continue through the village (still on B1052) to West Wratting. In West Wratting turn right signed Haverhill & Withersfield on to High Street. Continue the length of High Street to the junction with Mill Road on right (signed West Wickham & Bartlow) – Chestnut Tree Pub at the junction (postcode CB21 5LT).
Group size: No limit on number of walkers
Lunch arrangements: Please bring your own picnic to eat in Weston Green Village Hall (1 hour hire charge £15). Boots to be removed or covered before entry. Dogs allowed.

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than six people, as approved by Ramblers UK (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with their contact details.
Please email or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of any message! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted.
No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidance, members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
