Wednesday B All-day walk – Trumpington Park & Ride to Shelford circular

Start time: 10.15
Walk length: 7.5 to 8 miles
Walk details: The walk is around Trumpington Meadows, then to Shelford on the permissive path. Return along another of the permissive paths and some pavement walking. 4.5 -5 miles morning and 3 miles after lunch.
Parking and meeting point: Use Trumpington Park and Ride site. Walk will leave from the waiting area at 10.15.
Lunch arrangements: Lunch is at the Square and Compasses in Great Shelford. Menu attached below. The website menu is not up to date.
Dogs are not welcome in the pub but there is a covered area to the rear plus outside seating. Alternatively, Cara Coffee, which is almost opposite the pub, serves snacks.
For those bringing sandwiches or a picnic, please use the church porch, which we pass both on the way into the village and return. The leader will point the church out when passing.

Your details will be held for 7 days just in case it is necessary to notify others on a walk that someone has tested positive for Covid. Individual details will be deleted after 7 days. No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill.
