Wednesday B All-Day walk – Madingley Road Park & Ride and City Centre

Walk length: 7 miles
Walk details: A walk into the City Centre – largely the route taken on a previous occasion but shorter. Morning longer than afternoon. Quite a lot of tarmac etc but also some stretches of mud
Meeting place and parking: Madingley Road Park and Ride site (Lansdowne Rd, Cambridge CB3 0EU – https://cambridgeparkandride.info/madingleyroad.shtml)
Group size: Maximum of 15 people
Lunch arrangements: Lunch to be picnic eaten at place of walker’s choice. After lunch the meeting point for the return to the Madingley Road Park and Ride will be at Quayside outside PuntYard (Quayside is beside the river, opposite Magdalen College round the corner from Prezzo on Bridge Street).

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than six people, as approved by Ramblers UK (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with their contact details.
Please phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of any message! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted.
No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidance, members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
