CANCELLED – Wednesday B All-day walk – Hinxton and Duxford – due to anticipated high temperatures

11 July – This walk has been CANCELLED as a result of the expected high temperatures on Wednesday 13 July. The leaders intend to reschedule the walk for a later date.
Start time: 10.15
Walk length: 7 miles
Walk details: Approximately 4.5 miles in the morning and 2.5 miles after lunch. Slightly uneven ground by river at beginning of walk. If wet it could be a bit slippery and there may be some nettles. No stiles but some steps and 2 cattle gates.
Meeting point: Hinxton Church CB10 1RS
Directions and parking: Travelling from Cambridge, take A1301 through Great Shelford and Stapleford, continue in direction of Saffron Walden. After crossing A505 (BP garage and McDonalds restaurant), take the 1st right turn. At T-junction, turn left into the High Street. Follow the road to the memorial (2nd left ). Parking either on the approach to the church (Church Green) or on the High Street.
