Wednesday B All-day walk – Hilton, Elsworth and Conington

Walk length: 7.5 to 8 miles
Walk details: Walk starts in Hilton before heading to Elsworth and Connington, returning to Hilton. The distance is roughly 4.75 miles a.m., 3 miles p.m. The walk is mostly flat with two modern metal stiles. There is no way of shortening this walk.
Meet and parking: Meet at Hilton Village Hall, Church End, The Green PE28 9NJ. The car park holds quite a few cars but you can also park alongside the green.
Lunch arrangements: The White Swan at Connington has a large beer garden with a marquee where we will eat. And outside benches. I suggest those who are not eating could maybe buy a drink to use the facilities. In Connington, there is nowhere to sit, the only open space is the churchyard.

Booking: Could walkers let me know by Friday evening 20th May if they wish to eat and what they would like so I can let the pub know. They don’t open Mon/Tues. It is popular and sometimes gets busy.
