Wednesday B All-Day walk – Hildersham and Linton

Walk length: Just over 7 miles
Meeting point: Start point: by the little bridge and ford in Hildersham village.
Directions to start point, details on parking, and lunch menu (see below) will be sent to participants.
Group size: maximum of 12 people
Walk details: From Hildersham, up to and along the Roman Road, down into Linton, and returning along the Granta river. No stiles, but hilly.
Lunch arrangements: Lunch at the Crown Inn in Linton which has covered outdoor picnic benches. For those wishing to bring a picnic, the Meadow recreation field is not far away and has benches.

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than six people, as approved by Ramblers UK (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with their contact details.
Please email the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of any message! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted.
No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidance, members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
