Start time: 10.15

Walk length: 5.5 miles in the morning and just under 1.5 miles after lunch.

Walk details: There is one stile on the walk. The group will stop at the Twenty Pence Garden Centre (in Wilburton) for the morning coffee break as there are toilets available, but won’t actually go in for coffee but stand on the grass outside. It is about 3 miles to that point then another 2.5 miles before lunch.

Directions, parking and meeting place: From Cambridge, take the A10 towards Ely. In Stretham, turn left on to the A1123, continue through Wilburton and turn right into Chewells Lane in Haddenham (before you reach the High Street). The walk will start at the Sports & Social Club in Chewells Lane, Haddenham CB6 3SS. If there isn’t room in the car park then park along Chewells Lane itself.

Lunch arrangements: Lunch will be at the Twenty Pence Garden Centre in Wilburton. There is no need to pre-order. We will spend about an hour there so we can have lunch and have time to look round afterwards.

The Garden Centre does not accept dogs, but there is a long seat just outside the exit door which can be used by anyone with a dog. 

There are benches outside the garden centre which can be used by those not eating in the cafe.
