Walk length: A little over 7 miles – 4 miles in the morning, just over 3 in the afternoon.

Walk details: Walking on tracks, footpaths and minor roads. One slight incline and two robust stiles. Lovely views, particularly in the morning.

Meeting place and parking: Outside the Three Tuns pub on the High St in Great Abington CB21 6AB. There is ample parking along the High St.

Directions from Cambridge: Take A1307 from the city centre, crossing the A11 at Fourwentways. After slightly less than 1 mile, pass the Acorn garage on the right and immediately turn right. The Three Tuns is on the left after c. 0.3 mile.

If you prefer to bring your own food, the green is about 5 minutes away.
