Wednesday B All-Day walk – Fowlmere and Thriplow

Start time: 10.15
Walk length: 6.5 – 7 miles
Walk details: A walk around Fowlmere and Thriplow using permissive tracks, footpaths and quiet roads. Mostly good underfoot, no stiles and one muddy track. 5 miles in the morning and 1 3/4 in the afternoon.
Meeting place and parking: Meet at St Mary Parish Church, High Street, Fowlmere, Royston SG8 7SU for 10.15 a.m. departure. Parking is available in Fowlmere.
Group size: No limit on number of walkers
Lunch arrangements: At the Green Man, Thriplow. Dogs are welcome. Lunch orders must be sent by Friday 11th March. (Menu is attached below)

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than six people, as approved by Ramblers UK (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with their contact details.
Please email or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of any message! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted.
No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidance, members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
