Start time: 10.30 (Note – later start than usual)

Walk length and details: A lovely walk through beautiful North Essex countryside. Approximately 2.5/3 miles in the morning, 2.5/3 miles in the afternoon. 1 stile in the afternoon.

Meeting place and parking: At Duddenhoe End village hall car park (Post Code CB11 4UU; OS Grid Reference TL 459366). There is not much parking space at the village hall so please use the spaces economically.

Directions: Duddenhoe End is a small village approximately 5 miles west of Saffron Walden. Follow the B1039 out of Wendens Ambo and follow road signs for a left turn for the village.
Alternatively use your sat nav. Internet and mobile phone connections are not good in the area.

Lunch arrangements: At the Red Cow in Chrishall. (Post Code SG8 8RN; Grid Reference TL 446394) The pub allows dogs inside but only in the bar area.

Those with their own food cannot eat their food anywhere on the pub premises. There is a playing field opposite which has a pavilion with three benches. The leaders will provide directions on the day.
