Wednesday B All-day walk – Devil’s Ditch, Stetchworth and Ditton Green

Parking: From the large roundabout (with the rearing horse statue in the centre) at the junction of the A1304 and A 1303 as you head towards Newmarket, take the left turn (signposted for the July racecourse and National Stud) and immediately turn right on to the old road which is now a free car parking area. Meet at the far end of this lane.. Grid ref – TL 61868 61431
Group size: maximum of 12
General information: An 8 mile walk initially along the Devil’s Ditch above a golf course, then via a pleasant wooded area before touching the outskirts of Stetchworth, heading to Ditton Green and returning via paths/bridleways and a short 500m section of road before rejoining the Devil’s Ditch back to the start.

No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidance, members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
