Wednesday B All-Day walk – Clavering and local villages

September 15, 2021 @ 10:15 am - 3:00 pm

Walk length: 7.25 miles

Meeting point and car parking: Clavering Village Hall car park for 10.15am start (Postcode CB11 4QS)

Directions:  Take B1383 from Stumps Cross roundabout towards Newport.  In Newport turn right onto B1038 and continue through Wicken Bonhunt to  Clavering. Go past the “Cricketers” pub on the right, around left hand bend.  Look for the Village Hall sign on your Left and turn Right into Village Hall, parking at the far end.

Group size: maximum of 16 people

Walk details: This is a new circular walk starting in Clavering, before heading to Arkesden, Wicken Bonhunt and Rickling before returning to the start.

Lunch arrangements: Picnic lunch

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than six people, as approved by Ramblers UK (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with their contact details.

Please email the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of any message! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted.

No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill.  Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households.  In line with government guidance, members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
