Morning 5 miles, afternoon 2½ miles (inc. a short steep downhill stretch,but alternative route available)
Lunch is available at the Silver Ball Transport Cafe in Reed: fry-ups based on the usual eggs, bacon, beans, mushrooms, etc., from egg-on-toast (£2.50) upwards, also sandwiches.

Those bringing their own lunch may use the benches outside, but please buy a drink. Or picnic on the recreation ground.
