General walk information:

Worsted lodge is where the Roman road crosses the A11. From Cambridge on the A1307 turn left at the Babraham junction. From Newmarket it is the next slip road after the Fulbourn junction (after leaving the A11, aim for the road on your left that takes you over the A11 and park on the slope going up to the bridge) . Parking at Worsted Lodge (on the Balsham side of the A11 by the Roman road). Map/grid ref 209 TL528519.

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than six people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with their contact details.

Please text the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of the text! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.

No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidance, members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
